So I wanted to make a bucket list but I wanted to keep it realistic. I mean at age 45 I will be facing more physical limitations as the years go by, and a bucket list is not meant to be fully accomplished within a short period of time. Well at least not my bucket list anyway. Also with type 1 diabetes for 43 years, there are some things I just can’t do, or honestly won’t make the extreme and somewhat dangerous effort to try. Regardless, I wanted my list to be something accomplishable.

Also I wanted to keep it about myself. Sure I want my young adult kids to grow up and be healthy and happy, but that is their path, and their lives, I can only do so much and you know I will do what I can to see they are happy and healthy, but the bucket list only involves things within my personal will power and control.
Some of these things I have done before, but have not done in years, and I loved doing them so I want another go at it. Some things, like riding horses, used to be a big part of my life, but have since dissolved for whatever reason, and I want to feel the feeling of the experience again.
So here it is ..
1. Make my blog successful.
2. Travel to Oregon.
3. Travel to Seattle.
4. Grow a wonderful garden of veggies and herbs.
5. Learn to grow house plants without killing them.
6. Get on a better schedule / work / sleep / personal time / family time, etc.
7. Ride on a train.
8. Ride a horse again.
9. Go white water rafting again.
10. Travel to a foreign country.
11. Spend a night in a forrest.
12. Hold a hedgehog.
13. Hold a sloth.
14. Lean to sew / use a sewing machine.
15. Build my little hideout tea sanctuary (in my yard).
16. Redecorate my bedroom.
17. Get over my fear of bridges.
18. Regularly volunteer for the less fortunate.
19. Get my entire house organized (this is an on going project).
20. See the Northern Lights.
21. Take a few college courses to update my brain.
22. Live another 45 years.
23. Work for Woot! (www.woot.com)
24. Write for SNL
Okay those last two, probably not realistic but hey I had to put a couple big ones on the list! For that matter living another 45 years could be pushing it but let’s keep hoping for new medical advancements!
I think that is enough for now. I like to keep things to a limit or I could go on forever listing things like swim the English Channel, and such, but well, I don’t really want to do things like that.
My goals are somewhat simple perhaps, but hey, they’re mine.
