Happiness Is … Wrapping and Bows

So I am not one of those highly organized people who hit the sales at the end of a holiday ready to stick all of the great deals and closeouts. In fact last year was the first year I can recall that I did pick up some end of season sales on Christmas items!

It was not on purpose however that this happened. I was in a store for something else and saw the sale rack of Christmas wrapping paper, ornaments, bows, and decor. I could not resist because the sale was phenomenal! I ended up getting several bags of bows, and several rolls of wrapping paper for twenty five cents each! Now I realize that this probably isn’t big news to a lot of you. I imagine many people find these deals every year at the end of a holiday, but for me it was a first.

The real happiness however came more this year than last when I got the great deals. The happiness was today when I realized I was fully stocked on paper and bows, and I do not need to go buy any! Not to say I was not happy when I got the great deals, but this year I just do not have the time to go out and get this stuff, and with funds a little tighter than last year, it is nice not to have to pay full price!

So for me, today, Happiness Is … Wrapping and Bows!

Do you go out and buy end of holiday items like this every year? Let me know in the comments below.
