Sugar Scrub for Lips

Today I wanted to talk about Sugar Scrub for lips. Some of you may already use one, but some of you may not know about them. They aren’t necessarily necessary, but I really do love mine! I especially love mine in winter months when the wind can be harsh on the lips. Remember your lips are skin, a living organism, and they do need to be taken care of.

The cool thing is I have had this same pot of sugar scrub for three years now! The stuff lasts as you don’t have to use much at one time. Also these scrubs are super easy to make if you want to give it a try just google how to make a sugar scrub for lips.

Mine is from Lush Cosmetics which uses all natural ingredients.

Here is how to use it:

How to Use Lip Scrub

Spread a thin layer of sugar scrub on your lips. Gently work it around in circular motions. Smack lips together as you would if spreading your lipstick. Rinse off with water or feel free to lick your lips because its edible! Mine is popcorn flavored! Yum! Then pucker up with fresh, scale free, lips! The sugar scrub and motion of gently smoothing it over your lips will bring the blood up to the lip surface giving you a red tint to your lips. I am not wearing any lip color in the photo on the lower right!

Do you use a lip scrub? Is it flavored? My daughter has bubble gum flavor. What lip scrub do you recommend? Maybe you will try making your own. If you have not tried one before do you think you may try one now after reading this? Please tell me what you think in the comments below. I love hearing from my readers, it keeps me from feeling like I am talking to myself, which for the record I do often anyway.
