This past weekend my daughter and I went to a farmer’s market to get some pumpkins. My daughter has always been crafty and she found some nice crafting ideas on Pintrest for making pretty pumpkins for Halloween. We also trekked to Dollar Tree for some inexpensive craft supplies.
As your children become older doing special things like this becomes further and farther between so I was excited to join in with her on the fun!
Here is a look at our creations:

|Fashion Inspired Pumpkin!|
My daughter inspired the idea of the crayon pumpkins from some pins she saw on Pintrest and that was a lot of fun to do. Watching the crayons melt down the pumpkin (using a hair dryer to melt) was fun to watch, but you all know I had to create a fashion pumpkin as well! I think she (my pumpkin) is stunning! Okay in Picasso sort of way maybe but I am not the crafty sort.
Also if you have not noticed – I am having a giveaway that features the fashion pumpkin above! You can win a very nice Harvey Prince gift set for helping us name the pumpkin!
So today, for me, Happiness Is … Crafting and Pumpkin Decorating with my Daughter!
What are you doing that is crafty this Halloween? Share your ideas below please and maybe we will have time to try your ideas too!
