Today I will be reviewing the Cutaway Shoulder Dress from Gwynnie Bee which comes in size 10 through 24 via their rental clothing program for curvier women.
Gwynnie Bee has been previously reviewed on my blog and has received many positive comments from both existing and potential new clients. People seem to be loving Gwynnie Bee! I know I have been very happy with my selections thus far. One thing I do love about Gwynnie Bee is that what you select on their site, and add to your virtual closet is exactly what you get, no surprises! Granted I do love surprises when they work out that is, but a lot of the time surprises do not work out and you do not end up getting much bang for your buck! When it comes to clothing rental services I am pleased to be able to select exact items I will use, and then be surprised on which of those many items I do end up getting!
Please see this review specifically if you want to know more details on how Gwynnie Bee works.
Moving on to the item I am reviewing today:
|Cutaway Shoulder Dress from Gwynnie Bee
Shift dress with scoop neck, cutouts at neck and shoulder, three-quarter sleeves, self-tie belt, allover abstract print. Shoulder to hem length: 39″ (from size 16).
A cut above the rest. Dash through fall and winter with this high fashion dress from Anna Scholz, a label synonymous with fun, flirty, and fabulous statement pieces. It features a heavyweight jersey-knit blend with modern cutouts at the shoulders and neckline for just the right amount of reveal and conceal. Fabric Polyester / Spandex
I really liked this dress a lot! Here are photos of me wearing it:
This dress is extremely slimming and can be styled many ways, veritable for both cold and hot months throughout the year. The cut out shoulders may make it more fitting for spring and summer but the cool toned colors of the dress help bring the fall and winter months out of it as well.
For some reason, my husband loves cut out shoulders on me and truly it is one of the only ways to show off my shoulders because I really do not like wearing strapless dresses, tops or anything. I especially loved the length of the sleeve on this dress and the slight flair at the bottom of them.
For reference, I am five foot three inches, around 147 to 152 pounds depending on the time of the month, and such, and I have broad shoulders. This dress really made me feel feminine but strong, and I think it could be styled perfectly for the office as long as your office is not too conservative, a parent-teacher meeting, a date night, party, pretty much anything.
I am not super crazy about the fabric but otherwise, I love this dress! I wanted to list for you the member price, but since I stopped my subscription I can no longer access member pricing. I was able to get one month of Gwynnie Bee
service for free, last month, due to a special they offered to everyone, not just bloggers, so I did it in order to share my experience with you, however, I did not want to pay for the service to continue, so I cancelled it, and now I can no longer share the pricing with you. Sorry about that.
Overall I have absolutely loved my time experiencing Gwynnie Bee and I will have one more review to share with you before my journey is over but for now, if you would like to sign up yourself, please use my link and then maybe I too can continue my experience.
Have you tried Gwynnie Bee? What was your experience like? Please share in comments below, I love to hear from you.
