When Uber Chill reached out to me to test their product I was surprised by the tiny size of it! I have owned several mini fridges in my day, and have bought them for my kids college dorm rooms, first apartments, and for my kids bedrooms. One could say I am quite experienced when it comes to the mini fridge. We have one in our garage for soda overflow, and another in our garage that is currently not in use. It probably belonged to one of my kids at some point.
What surprised me about Uber Appliance Uber Chill Mini Fridge however, is that it is so super tiny! Also it not only cools, but it heats as well!
The Uber Appliance Uber Chill Mini Fridge is a personal 6 can mini fridge for the bedroom, office, dorm room, or bedside, or really anywhere you can imagine. You can even take it on your travels.
My family and I keep thinking of different ways it could be utilized, it is so convenient.
The Uber Appliance Uber Chill Mini Fridge has a compact 4 liter design, in a cool retro style.
It also has a slide in and out rack for optimum configuration, depending on your personal needs.
The photo above gives you a better idea of the true size of this mini heating and cooling system. As you can see, it is small! My daughter and I refer to it as the mini mini.
So does it work? Yes, it sure does! If you put your drinks in warm it will take a little longer for them to chill than say a regular fridge, or even a regular sized mini fridge, but not much longer, and the drinking temp is very nice, cold, but not ice sickle cold.
My husband thinks that the Uber Chill would be perfect for his office desk to keep extra drinks, and his lunch in. My daughter and I both have need for quick access to middle of the night snacks due to us both having Type 1 Diabetes. The Uber Chill is our perfect bedside companion!
Now fair warning … the Uber Chill does make a subtle sound due to the fan. If you are a sleeper who wants it totally quite, this may not be the best for you by your bedside. Since my husband sleeps with a fan blasting on us, I can not even hear the light sound of the Uber Chill fan. Others may find the sound very soothing. It is a “white noise” sound.
As you can see, my night stand is not very large. The top is in fact quite narrow yet the Uber Chill fits nicely.
You can also see in the photo above that it holds a perfect amount of juice for my low blood sugar issues. This is enough to get me through many low blood sugar situations before I would have to restock.
Now, another thing to note … you do need a good 6 to 12 inches of space between the back of the unit and the wall for it to continue to work properly. Due to this, I had to place mine sideways on my nightstand. Not a bad thing since I like to have it facing me for easy access in the middle of the night anyway.
The Uber Chill ( I really think it should be named Uber Chill and Heat ) comes with all the operation instructions you need but if you lose them you can always find them on the Uber Chill website.
The Uber Appliance Uber Chill Mini Fridge is currently on sale for $59.99 USD with FREE UPS Ground Shipping and a 100% Money Back Guarantee.
It also comes in a gorgeous Uber Red color, which I honestly would have preferred since we are going to be redecorating our outdated bedroom soon, and red is going to be one of the featured colors.
Since my daughter wants this Uber Chill Mini Fridge, I may just have to buy the red for myself.
I like knowing that a product I am purchasing is sold at many locations. It builds trust in the product. Plus you may have gift cards from the holidays, or discounts at some of these stores.
So my take on this innovative mini mini fridge is that it is awesome!
I love the connivence and security it provides me. For taking cold, or hot snacks with me while traveling by car. Not having to get out of bed when I have a medical emergency. It can be used in so many ways! On a desk, by the bedside, in a car, even on a boat, not that we go boating, but that is an option.
