Each of us who are part of the #BehindTheBlogger group can write whatever comes to mind in regard to the prompt. Sometimes funny, usually introspective, other times enlightening, we all reveal a part of ourselves in these posts. I hope you are enjoying them and please leave a comment.
Dear Childhood Me,
You are going to frustrate a great number of people in your life, mostly your mother, due to that fact that you will find it difficult to stick to any one thing. This will include jobs, men, hobbies, and even where you live.
You are a dynamic person with a lot to offer but you have so many talents, that you may find it difficult to decide what you want to focus on. Many of these talents you will develop into skills to be used more directly later in life.
You will skip from job to career path, interest to hobby, and guy to guy until you find where you land is a place of completion of all things. The little nuggest of joy that you gleaned from each experience will culminate into who you become, as well as who you end up with, and where you end up planting your feet.
Along the way you will be misunderstood. Family and friends will consider you to be flighty. This is okay and it does not matter what the outlook of others is upon you. It will end up being that many of these people will in fact be following in your wake of ideas, discovery, and lifestyle. Eventually you will be viewed more as a trailblazer, someone with guts, and someone who lived fully rather than flighty.
You will try more than others, you will fail more than others, but you will succeed more than others. You do not give up, but rather you get bored once you figure something out fully. Once something is no longer a challenge to you – you will move onto something bigger and better.

Dear Childhood Me – A Letter To Myself #BehindTheBlogger #insight #enlightenment #empowerment
You will be the first of those you know who dabble in new ideas and many people will think you are silly or foolish, just wait ten years once these ideas are popularized and everyone is into them! Don’t expect for anyone to come back and say “hey I remember you were into this ten years ago, wow you knew a good thing early on!” They won’t, and that is okay, you know, and you have the ability to know when to bite your lip and give a sly smile.
You are unusual, multifaceted, talented, and sharp witted. Perhaps this is why you never got into trouble with your shenanigans, at least not much. You are good at getting into and out of a tight place, and that will serve you well since you like mischief!
You have a dreamers soul, a creative spirit, and may you always wander as you will never be lost, rather always finding a new trail to blaze.
Your Adult Self
Thank you for reading a story from #BehindTheBlogger Hop. Every 2 weeks a group of bloggers is given a writing prompt. These prompts are very open ended, so our bloggers can write about whatever they desire. The main rule is that their blog post directly relates to the topic of that week. The point of this hop is for our readers to get to know us on a personal level.
Please hop along and read all of the blog posts in this weeks hop. Just click the links below. If you want real and raw emotion, then you will find it here. After you read each post, please comment and share. We want to get to know you too!
I love comments! Please join in discussion, ask questions, or leave tips for other readers. Comments truly are the driving force behind any blog as it helps the blogger to know what you, the reader want to see more of!
