Styling Tips: Be Picture Perfect For The Holidays – Get Tickled Pink In Monroe and Main Transitional Holiday Fashions #MMHolidayFashion Plus Giveaway

Disclosure: This is a Fashionista Event Opportunity, and is hosted by Still Blonde after all these YEARS and Modly Chic. I received free clothing to facilitate this post.

Holiday wear need not always be sweaters with candy canes on them, or sparkling rhinestones, sometimes holiday fashion can just be fashion in and of itself. I prefer fashion that is versatile, and can go from a family event to a holiday party with simple changes in accessories, a different top, or a change of shoes.

I also love holiday fashion that can be worn anytime of the year. That is why today I want to talk to you about Monroe and Main and the gorgeous, always in style, Picture Perfect SkirtMonroe and Main is the Industry leader in clothing to fit every women from sizes 6 – 24 / S to 3x.

I will also show you the many ways you can style the Picture Perfect Skirt for the holidays, yet you can still enjoy wearing it all year through.

You may not have in your closet what I do, but you will probably have something similar to make some of these looks work for you.

It can be fun to pair something sweet and feminine like the Picture Perfect Skirt with an edgier accessory such as a faux leather jacket. I also love pairing blush pinks with grey, which I have done with this cable knit sweater that I picked up at a thrift shop.

Since I am short waisted and short legged, the shorter crop of the sweater, with the long length of the skirt help to balance out my figure, giving me the appearance of longer legs.
I just had to accessories the Picture Perfect Skirt with these too cute Classique Patsy Pumps, also available at Monroe and Main. What says holiday cheer more than herringbone pumps with bows on them?
Completing any look is in the details. Snowflake crystal earrings, similarly shaped enamel and crystal floral ring, woven scarf, a long enamel and pearl with crystal necklace, and a gorgeous watch with a rose gold face really pull everything together.

Keep in mind when using accessories to try sticking to similar shapes, and colors throughout.
We can use accessories in a bolder color to compliment a look, but for holiday dressing I like to keep the accessories in tune with my clothing colors. With a WOW skirt like this we do not need to do too much with accessories.
I would wear the above look for holiday shopping with friends, or a casual get together.
This next look, would be the perfect styling for church, meeting your loved one’s family members, or a holiday party that is not necessarily casual, but not black tie either.
The high neck on the sweater, another thrift store find, gives a demure, and lady like look, while also adding an element of high style. A look that says “take me seriously” but still quite feminine.
I find this look to be quite approachable, but strong.
If being playful is on your agenda you may want to add a little color, wear a floral top with your Picture Perfect Skirt
I switched out my shoes to a black pair booties. You may notice that my shoes and scarf, and or necklace are the only accessories I switch in or out. With every one of these looks no other accessory changes were necessary.
You really do not need a huge accessory wardrobe to compliment such a picture perfect skirt.

I think this is the perfect look when spending time with family, especially if there are children around. The kiddos will find you easily approachable, and fun.

This styling reminds me of a teacher, perhaps a Sunday School teacher. It is prim, proper, and oh so pretty. This could also be worn to “meet the parents” or family of a loved one as well.

I just think it is such an easy, breezy, carefree look and feel. You can’t help but smile when wearing this combination of blush pink, with a navy blue blouse with pink flowers all over it. Those around you won’t be able to help but smile too!

Another cute and trendy look is wearing a critter top. Critter tops are all the rage right now. The Picture Perfect Skirt is so versatile it pairs very well with one.
I wore a grey tank underneath because even though it is sunny it is quite chilly outside, an added layer of warmth is necessary. I love this bird in flight shirt because it reminds me of birds flying south for the winter.

This is a look I would wear to holiday performances such as kids school music performances, theatrical or music events held at local venues over the holidays, or an art walk.
Our town has a wonderful arts district where they have events every Friday all through the year. During the holidays however they really pull out all of the stops with gorgeous vintage holiday decor, street musicians playing holiday music, wine and craft beer tastings, and local art all up and down the streets. This is the perfect outfit to wear to such an event because not only is it gorgeous but it also shines of a creative, free flowing flair.

This final look is what I would wear to a holiday gala event, holiday charity fashion show, or a special black tie holiday event.

With a MicroModal Top, and a smart looking cropped black jacket the Picture Perfect Skirt is just that, picture perfect!
The Picture Perfect Skirt is just stunning for the holidays, and for numerous holiday events, and gatherings. What is even better is I can wear my Picture Perfect Skirt all year long!  Just wait until spring when I show you more ways to style this beautiful flowing skirt for warmer weather!
Don’t wait to buy it though, I have a feeling this beauty is going to sell out fast!
