Soniclear by Michael Todd is the first ever sonic skin cleansing brush with built in antimicrobial protection against stain and odor causing bacteria. Sonic cleansing can create a breeding ground for microbial contamination when skin cells, makeup and moisture residue combine with bacteria that cling to the brush bristles between cleansings. Cleaner skin begins with a cleaner brush™ This is my review.
I was first impressed by the packaging of the Soniclear by Michael Todd. Everything was tucked neatly into place without slippage, which is good when having an item like this shipped to your door.
I first became curious about Soniclear by Michael Todd when I saw similar items in a local beauty shop recently. It was the first time I actually picked one up and looked at them.
Many years ago a friend of mine was selling some beauty products and she brought me something like this, but by no means as advanced, or as nice as the Soniclear. I was intrigued but I did not continue to use it because it was somewhat simplistic, somewhat fragile, and somewhat pointless. Back then, it just was not as well made, nor as well studied as items like this are now. What impressed me about Michael Todd’s version of this product is that it has built in antimicrobial protection, because let’s face it, the last thing I need on my “to do” list is another thing I have to do! I don’t want to have to clean something that cleans my face and body. So the fact that it self cleans is a wonderful thing for me.
So between looking at items like this recently at a local beauty supply store, and my limited hands on experience in the past, my curiosity was piqued. When Michael Todd approached me offering for me to review one of their products, this is the one I wanted to try, hands down.
First let me start by saying the Soniclear is sturdy! It weighs enough to assure me it is a well made product but is not too heavy to use on my face, or even my whole body. It sits well in its charing base, does not tip over, and I have no fear it is going to wiggle out or get knocked out sitting on my tiny counter in the bathroom.
It is water proof so I can use it in the shower on my body, which is really cool since some of the items like this can only be used on your face alone.
In comparison to those I handled in the beauty shop I mentioned earlier, this is as nice as any of them, and much nicer than most of them.
Soniclear sells for 149.00 but with this special offer you can get 20% off no code needed when you use the link I provided.
Watch this video below to get a basic idea about what Soniclear can mean to you, and how it is different than traditional rotary cleansing brushes. Notice around 2:10 in the video the big difference and why you do not want to use other rotary brushes on your skin!
The Michael Todd Soniclear brush comes with a booklet that tells you everything you need to know to cleanse your skin to perfection. From the multi speeds the brush offers for different areas of the face and both to information about it’s built in timer. I had no idea how much this cleansing brush truly had to offer until I received mine.
Your Michael Todd Soniclear brush will come with a charger and two brushes, one for the face, and one for the body. You can also buy other accessories for your Soniclear including a travel case if you feel you would need one. The accessory I really want is this Body Brush Extension Handle:
|Soniclear Extension Handle 25.00|
You put your Soniclear into the extension handle and you can get your back easier, both my husband and I want this added feature.
Personally, I am loving my Soniclear. I especially enjoy using it on my legs before shaving, for an extremely good exfoliation. My legs have never felt smoother! I also love using it on my face as well and have done so daily since I received it, but when I use it on my body it is a special treat, like getting a spa treatment.
