I consider myself somewhat of a foodie, but then again who that loves good food doesn’t? I guess I need to do a google search on what truly makes a foodie but then anytime I do a google search I get contrasting information so I will just declare my foodie status here and now myself. I grew up in the restaurant industry, my family on my father’s side still owns and operates a handful of successful restaurants, so knowing good food runs in the blood. With that said, I can be particular. I do love finding new to me foods however. Be it a new brand, a new way something is done, or a new twist on something that has been around for a long time.
My husband and I ventured out to a grocery store across town the other day and found a few new to us goodies that I am very excited about.
Gnarly Head Wine is a brand I can’t wait to try! I only just learned about it, and have not yet opened this bottle, as I am waiting until I feel a bit better after our travels to truly enjoy it but after watching this video, I am super excited! How cool does this look?
I absolutely am in love with these vines! They do indeed look gnarly but so beautiful. When I saw this video I knew I had to try the wine, which I hope to do very soon!
Then we also found some hummus, which is one of my favorite snack foods, in “Everything” flavor. I love “Everything” bagels, so finding this hummus was a win!
I have talked in other posts about how I love good bread, one of my favorites is herb bread, and I have bought rosemary bread many times before but this is a new twist of rosemary with garlic, and I do also love garlic!
Wine, tasty bread, and everything hummus, I am going to have a nice evening sometime soon enjoying all three!
What are you recent foodie finds? I love talking food as much as fashion so please comment and tip me off to anything I should be on the look out for. Also if you have tried Gnarly Head Wine, I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
So for me today, happiness is in the simple things, new tasty food finds!
I love comments! Please join in discussion, ask questions, or leave tips for other readers. Comments truly are the driving force behind any blog as it helps the blogger to know what you, the reader want to see more of!
