Today I received the Walmart Beauty Box for Winter 2014. I have to say, at first I was not too thrilled, but I had to remind myself, the box is only 5.00 and that includes shipping! I am not a big fan of foil wrapper samples, and this box was full of them. I did however get a nice full sized Pond’s Rejuveness Anti-Wrinkle Cream. Everything else was sample sized or in a foil packet.

I also like the Pond’s Wet Cleansing Towellettes as I find these things very handy for those late nights when I simply do not feel like doing my facial routine entirely.
Aveeno is always a great product so I don’t mind having a travel size to put in my bag. This is a really nice daily moisturizing cream that quickly absorbs into the skin then leaves the skin feeling as if you had put powder on it.
The foil hair products are not all that useful to me due to that I only use Madison Reed shampoo and conditioner but I am sure I can find someone who needs them for traveling or something.
Overall not a bad package for 5 buck. I will say I have seen other Winter Walmart Beauty Boxes that are far nicer for that same 5 bucks. If you like more makeup items, and fun colorful items you may want to cheat a little on your age. I do feel the Walmart boxes are age generated, which is great if you are wanting anti-aging skin care to be sent to you, like I received. I don’t mind getting anti-aging items at all, I need them, but I also love fun colors, nail polish, and “young” items. I look forward to checking out other blogs to see what they received and if everyone got a lot of foil wrapper items or not.
I will say my Fall Walmart Beauty Box was a little better as I received two full size items. And as an example of the younger box and older person box here is the box my daughter received last fall. She is also expecting a winter box as well and I will blog on that as soon as it gets here.
I am excited to see what she gets!
