Yay! I won another drawing and today I received the items I won- Big Slice Apples! These are kettle cooked all natural apples that come in a variety of flavors. I was not sure what to expect from these items even though I had read about them and seen them on blogs, but once I got them in hand I was very excited!
I was interested because with my daughter and I both being type 1 diabetic we are always looking for a quick snack on the go to combat low blood sugars. With these, Big Slice Apples we can have a healthy treat on the go anytime! The carbs on each are around 20g which is perfect for a low blood sugar. Not too high but high enough to give us the boost we need.
|So Many Flavors!|
There are so many flavors to choose from as well. Banana Mango with Hemp Seed, Cherry Vanilla, and Orange Ginger to name a few. They are all GMO Free, Gluten Free, and all that other stuff we look for these days.
If you are interested in them you can check them out at Big Slice Apples website.
I am not reviewing them because I have not personally tried any yet. They look like so much fun that I decided to put them in the stockings as stocking stuffers, and I have a lot of stockings to stuff. Is that weird? Either way that is what I am doing with them, although I did reserve a couple back for my daughter and myself in case of low blood sugar emergency, as there are not too many snacks that you can easily take with you outside of granola bars, and to be honest we get sick of them. These are packaged perfectly and in a sturdy way for travel – the packaging is very thick and hardy, can stand up to being roughed around in my tote for weeks!
I want to send out a huge thank you to Kelina of Simply Kelina for hosting this giveaway! I am so happy that I won.
So for me today, Happiness Is … not just winning a giveaway but winning one in which I can share with others, and one that just may help the health of my daughter and myself.
