Younique Eye Shadow Pigment Review

Today I am reviewing Younique Eye Shadow Pigments. Keep in mind I am not very experienced with eye shadow pigments, nor do I see myself as the best possible model for makeup, but hey I am a real woman, with real flaws, and let's face it, most of us do not relate to models. So please don't judge the pigments based on my lack of skill using them, applying them, or looking fantastic.

With that said, I find these pigments beautiful, super easy to use, and a lot of fun. I will have to tell you, I have a lot of eye shadow pigments, but they have done little but clutter up my dresser where I have stashed them since I have not used them. They were from another brand, and of good quality as far as how they applied, but they lacked fun, they were boring to be honest, and just didn't have a wow factor to them.

When Lisa Homan, Younique representative contacted me to review her products I was excited but also hesitant. I had not had much luck with pigments, and I also was receiving Younique 3D Fiber Lashes to review (link leads to my previous review on the 3D Fiber Lashes), so I was a little intimidated, but I figured, a lot of us would be, so why not walk the plank for others! What I learned was that I really love the Younique line, and am really wanting to try more of their product line! The one thing I was not hesitant to try were the blusher pigments, as I use loose powder blushers often.

Now before I go further I want to point out, all of these products are natural. So before you go resorting to gluing on false lashes, consider that 3D Fiber Lashes are made with natural fibers from green tea! Their blushers and eye pigments are 100% natural, chemical-free, mineral based, free of talc, oils, preservatives, perfumes, synthetic dyes, and parabens.

So here are some of my photos (please forgive my brows - I was working on growing them full again)

My brows are a bit better in these photos:

In the lower photo I also added a blusher from Younique in the color Sweet, which it is a very sweet color!

One thing I find about these pigments is that they blend effortlessly with a blending brush, and you can make them really pop and look bold or you can soften them with proper blending. You can use wet or dry, and when wet make an excellent liner as well.

I am using Younique 3D Fiber Lashes in both photo groups.

I would recommend curling your lashes before applying Younique 3D Fiber lashes because the product will make them so long they look rather odd if not curled (see upper left photo in second photo grouping).

Also, Lisa Homan is an absolute doll, she will answer any questions that you may have and is not a push high pressure sales person. She believes in her products, as do I, and offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Give her a try, visit her site at her Younique site.

And as always feel free to comment below with your thoughts on these items.
