Happiness Is ... Entry Way, Hallway

I realize this may be an odd thing to be happy about, but I am happy about this. We moved from a very small home, it was cramped and you walked straight into the living room upon entry. Also I had always wanted a long hallway to hang photos on. Thankfully our new home, which we have lived in since June of this year, has not only a lovely entry way, but a hallway too!

I love having a place to hang out coats, as well as a coat closet, and room for some shoes, especially in the winter when they are wet from snow! It is nice to have a little corner for a small table to hold those items you may need as you rush out the door to run errands, or your keys, and such.

Entry way and Hallway Happiness
I love having a long hallway to hang family photos on! You may see a blank space which is reserved for a photo of my husband and myself which we need to get a copy of one printed out and framed to hang. One of those things we still have not got around to doing.

The reason for this post, is because the other night my daughter came home from work late, and as I flipped on the light switch for her, I said out loud to myself "It sure is nice to have an entry way!" and I was happy. So what better to do than make it a happiness is post, because after all that is what these posts are about. Finding the little things or the big things that make one happy. I hope that you find some small sense of happiness in your day, be it from finding an amazing deal on something you have wanted, or just having a small area in your own home that you can enjoy.

For me, today, Happiness Is ... an entry way and a hallway.
