My Konjac Sponge

Alright so I am going to admit right off the bat here I had low expectations for this product. However, My Konjac Sponge has impressed me!

I had never heard of it before, and while I owned, and have used, natural sea sponges in the past, it has been years, and so many other cool items have come out in the mean time. Regardless, this sponge is pretty darn cool! You wouldn't know by looking at it in the packaging, and feeling it as it comes rock hard, but it gets so soft, so squishy, yet has just the right amount of exfoliating surface to get all the dead skin cells off without harming your skin one bit!

When you get it wet it feels like a spongy gel like blob almost in your hand and I know that does not make it sound appealing but you just have to feel it on your face!

Before I give you more of my impressions of this product I will show you what the company has to say about it:

MY Konjac Sponge is the highest quality konjac sponge in the market. Our products are proudly carried by Whole Foods Market and major online retailers.

MY Konjac Sponge are made exclusively with the konjac fiber, a pure vegetable fiber taken from the root of the Amorphophallus Konjac plant.
Konjac plant, also known as konnyaku potato or elephant yam, is a plant that is native to eastern Asia.
Konjac root is rich in minerals, vitamins, and it has been traditionally used as a beauty treatment for a long time in eastern Asia.

MY Konjac Sponge is made to the very highest of standards, using the purest volcanic rock filtered water and food grade konjac. All of our products are hypoallergenic & fragrance free.

All of our products are never tested on animals, and they carry the Vegan Society logo as well as Leaping Bunny logo, the highest standard of cruelty-free status in the cosmetics industry.

Wow huh! Vegan, comes from a vegetable fiber! I love it! Such an interesting little doodad! This specific sponge is suitable for oily and acne prone skin but I believe they carry other Konjac sponges for other skin types as well.

When you are done using it you hang it to dry and it is pretty much dry the next morning getting hardened up again and it really just does not look or feel like something you want to clean your skin with but when you wet it - it gets all soft and gel like again almost as if it is living! I love it! I do not exfoliate my skin often enough, and I hate those chemical peels. I have tried a peel once and I just can't bring myself to put those chemicals on my face again. This is my alternative natural way of getting deal skin cells off of my face from now on.

I am so glad I was sent this product to try out and I am happy to be able to recommend it to all of you. Check out My Konjac Sponge on Amazon and get one for yourself. They are only 10.00 and amazon prime eligible.

Note: I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
